SCDAA is working to increase the participation of patients in clinical trials to provide more therapies to the SCD community. SCDAA partnered with Forma Therapeutics to launch the clinical trial finder in October 2021 during the SCDAA annual convention. The trial finder is a tool that easily allows patients, family members, or caregivers to locate clinical trials on sickle cell disease. SCDAA will continue to serve as a change agent in the views of clinical trials in the SCD Community.
